Last Thursday through Saturday CTE educators and administrators from across the United States gathered for the annual ACTE CareerTech Vision conference in historic San Antonio.

We attended this conference for the third time with the intent of learning and sharing our experiences in the space of college, career and community readiness and had the fortune of co-presenting with several of our esteemed partners surrounding topics from Work-Based Learning to embedding social and emotional learning into CTE curriculum.

For example, our partner at Clark County School District shared our lesson on Systems Thinking and how it can be utilized as a tool in the classroom. Our hope? That the attendees walked away with some valuable resources and insights on ways they already use systems, and how to share that with their students in the classroom.

If you remember stopping by our booth, you probably remember our really intriguing chairs (yes, you’re right, they do fold flat). At our booth, we highlighted our work in the digital content space surrounding areas like life skills, soft skills, career exploration; all designed with social-emotional learning as the foundation.
