CLARK COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT
The Clark County School District (CCSD) is a school district that serves all of Clark County, Nevada, including the cities of Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, and Boulder City. The district is the fifth largest in the United States, operating over 365 schools.
The Career and Technical Education (CTE) Department at Clark County School District (CCSD) part-need with IMAGO to develop students’ college and career readiness through the lens of social and emotional learning. The 2020–2021 school year was the fourth consecutive year that IMAGO’s lessons were implemented at CCSD. This report provides usage rates of Mindsets lessons and explores student responses to study guide questions from the Mindsets lessons to learn about lesson adoption and impact during
a unique school year.
Lesson Usage
Between August 2020 and July 2021, facilitators assigned 9,680 IMAGO lessons to 1,214 learners. Assigned lessons spanned eight of IMAGO’s lesson categories: Career Dives, Career Pathways, Core Skills, Industries, Life After High School, Mindsets, and Work Skills. Industries were the least accessed, and Mindsets were the most-accessed.
- Learners accessed lessons from all eight of the assigned lesson categories. Of these learners, 61% accessed an average of 7 lessons each.
- Of the facilitators who assigned lessons, 89% had learners who accessed them.
Results from the analysis of the study guide data indicate that CCSD students who access IMAGO lessons are learning valuable concepts and can apply these concepts in meaningful ways to their own lives.
